Step 1 (Site Assessment and Regulatory Requirements)
Ecological consultants and/or environmental specialists attend the designated berm site for an analysis assessment. In accordance with regulatory regulations, we evaluate surrounding land formations, erosion and sediment drainage patterns and natural vegetation, carrying out soil analysis testing and sound studies as necessitated.
Step 2 (Design)
After the assessment is completed, we then design a customized berm according to the specification requirements providing for any excavation or demolition that may be required by the design.
Step 3 (Material and Site Preparation)
Preparing the site begins with the transfer of necessary equipment and delivery of raw materials.
Step 4 (Sound-Sorb Preparation and Application to Berm)
According to specific requirements determined by the assessment, Sound-Sorb is created and applied to the berm.
Step 5 (Berm Material Settlement)
At each stage of berm construction as the material is allowed to settle, we continually assess the berm for consistency of fill to ensure that the berm meets with all geographical and environmental structural specifications.
Step 6 (Application of Finishing Compost and Final Landscaping)
The final stage includes applying a layer of enriched topsoil (finishing compost) to the exterior of the berm structure.
